On July 6, 2022, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy T. Bazarbaev met with the President of the Italian Football Federation G. Gravina and the head of the federation's office for international relations D. Filacchione.

During the meeting, Ambassador T. Bazarbaev, having informed about the activities of the Kyrgyz Football Union, presented his vision of cooperation with the Italian Football Federation, which has made a huge contribution to the development of world football.

Having outlined the possibility of expanding cooperation between the two countries through the organization of visits by the heads of the Italian Football Federation and the Kyrgyz Football Union, Ambassador T. Bazarbaev submitted to G. Gravin a draft Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Football Union and the Italian Football Federation, including the exchange of experience and advanced training between coaches, referees, representatives of youth football, medical personnel, etc.

In turn, G. Gravina noted that the submitted draft Memorandum will be considered in the near future, and its signing can be combined with the visit of the leadership of the Kyrgyz Football Union to Italy at the headquarters of the Italian Football Federation in Rome.

G.Gravina expressed readiness to consider the organization of a visit of the leadership of the Italian Football Federation to Kyrgyzstan in order to exchange international experience in the development of football.
