The Comprehensive International Trade in Services Exhibition (CIFTIS), dedicated to trade in services, was held in Beijing from 4 to 9 September, during which the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping made a welcoming speech. The main organizers of this event were the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC and the People's Government of Beijing.
As part of the work to promote economic diplomacy, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to China took part in the above event in an online format, where a virtual country pavilion was created with information about the key sectors of the Kyrgyzstan economy, and also organized a thematic event under the name “Kyrgyzstan is a country with unlimited opportunities”, where the Embassy employees presented information on the investment climate, exports of agricultural products and the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan. In addition, within the framework of this exhibition, a cultural event was held, where a stand of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan was organized with a display of national exhibitors reflecting the culture and customs of the Kyrgyz people. There was also a show of national costumes.
This event received wide local and foreign media coverage, and an active interest was shown among citizens and business community of China in an event related to Kyrgyzstan.
The International Exhibition for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was attended by 18 thousand enterprises and organizations from 148 countries and regions of the world.
