On June 25, 2022, in Seoul, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea organized a fashion show of national Kyrgyz clothes of the national Fashion House «BAIRA» by designer Tolgonai Kerimkulova.

In the framework of the 37th Seoul International Tourism Exhibition KOTFA (Korea World Travel Fair) for guests and participants of the event was presented fashion show of Korean traditional clothes «Hanbok» Korean designers and Kyrgyz national dress for women and men.

The exhibition of national women’s outfits, from ethnic beldemchi and chapans to modern outfits, was held under the Kyrgyz and Korean folk melodies and wonder applause of the Korean public. The guests were especially interested in modern handmade Kyrgyz national costumes.

This event was organized in one of the largest trade and exhibition centers in Asia in the COEX building, with the participation of representatives from 70 countries of the world, about 800 pavilions were opened, including with the participation of diplomatic missions, regional tourism offices, K-Pop production centers, Mass media of the Republic of Korea, etc.

For the formation of a positive image of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea, video materials about Kyrgyzstan were presented to the guests of the event to inform Korean citizens about the tourism and investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.
