The American DevX School, in cooperation with eight Kyrgyz higher education institutions, will train the most in-demand IT professionals

On July 12, 2022, in Bishkek an agreement was signed between the American DevX School, which trains IT specialists, and eight Kyrgyz higher educational institutions to jointly train the world's most in-demand IT specialists. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the U.S. and Canada Bakyt Amanbaev, Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Beishenaliev, acting U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sonata Coulter, rectors of eight Kyrgyz higher education institutions and founders of DevX school took part in the event.
For several years the American school DevX has been successfully preparing about ten of the most sought-after IT specialists in the United States. Training is conducted in English and lasts eight months. Training is conducted online; lectures are read by experienced professionals, working in major global companies. It is worth noting that ninety-nine percent of graduates managed to find a high-paying job.
According to the mentioned agreement, the American educational DevX school will start joint training of IT specialists in cooperation with eight major educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The training and education system is fully organized by the American company DevX. On the other hand, Kyrgyz educational institutions provide students with all conditions for studying and prepare necessary training equipment. The training is conducted online.
The above-mentioned initiative was initiated by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United States, and the embassy staff has been developing the concept of the future educational institution for the past few months together with the American company DevX. This concept was then supported and approved by Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov. This concept is being implemented by order of the head of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic under the leadership of the Minister of Science and Education Almaz Beishenaliev.
The educational institutions of KSTU, OshSU, ISU, JASU, NSU, TalSU, and BatSU from Kyrgyzstan participate in this educational institution.
