On August 19, 2020 Ms. Nurzhan Shaildabekova, Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic held a videoconference meeting with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic residing in North America and Europe.

Topics related to the participation of Kyrgyzstan citizens in the upcoming elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the Head of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic and the staff of the foreign missions of Kyrgyzstan provided information on the procedure for including citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the voter lists, registration with consular records, submission of biometric data and many other topics related to the elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
