Duishenkul Shopokov was born on May 19, 1915 in the village of Shalta in the Sokuluk district of the Kyrgyz SSR.
At the end of August 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army. On November 16, 1941, during the expedition to Dubosekovo, Volokolamsk region, Moscow region, a platoon of tank fighters of the 4th company of the 2nd battalion of the 1075th infantry regiment of the 316th infantry division took part in the detachment of a large number of tanks. The result was the destruction of 18 enemy tanks. This feat entered history as a feat of 28 Panfilov heroes, fearless and brave warriors. During this time, Dushenkul Shopokov died a martyr's death.
According to the military commissar of the 1075th regiment of the 316th division of the 16th army of the "Western" front of Mukhamedyarov, the Red Army soldier Shopokov died heroically in battle on November 16, 1941: puli 3-go fascist heroically pogib. On May 7, 2015, a bust of Duishenkul Shopokov was installed in Volokolamsk.
Duishenkula Shopokova was named after a school in the town of Tash-Kumyr, Zhaiyl, Sokuluk and Uzgen districts of Kyrgyzstan, as well as a street in Bishkek, a native of Panfilov, and Kara-Balty, in the village of Oktyabrsky Alamudun district of Chui region.
