On May 28, 2019, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA Dr. Bolot Otunbaev took part in the meeting of Central Asian Ambassadors with Alice Wells, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs and Jonathan Henick, newly appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary for Central Asian Affairs.

The current state and prospects of the regional cooperation with the United States, including within the framework of existing C5+1, TIFA sites, and other international interaction formats, have been discussed during the meeting.

At the same time, participants discussed joint plans for the short-term and long-term perspectives of cooperation, including the upcoming C5+1 High-Level Security Discussion to be held in June.

At the end of the meeting, Central Asian Ambassadors warmly congratulated Jonathan Henick on his appointment to a high position, wishing him success in his work.
