On September 11, 2023, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States and Canada Mr. Baktybek Amanbaev met with a group of Kyrgyz businessmen who are currently in the United States. The meeting was attended by the heads of companies such as "Ak Buura," "Unique Group," "Pik Stroy," "Sheker," "Mon Ami," the brand "kurbum_kg," and others.

During the meeting, Ambassador Baktybek Amanbaev introduced the activities of the Embassy, the ongoing work to improve Kyrgyz-American relations, and shared his proposals regarding the prospects of enhancing relations with representatives of American business. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, and there was an exchange of opinions on improving cooperation between Kyrgyz and American businessmen.

The participants of the meeting suggested establishing a joint business association with Kyrgyz businessmen living and working in the United States. The Ambassador supported this proposal, discussed its implementation, and agreed to jointly organize it in the near future.

Ambassador Baktybek Amanbaev also mentioned a recent meeting with the head of the American textile company Smartmatic, Peter Jones, and informed that if Kyrgyz businessmen are willing to purchase equipment from the said company, the representatives of the American company have promised to assist in bringing Kyrgyzstan's textile products to the U.S. market. Following the conversation, the parties agreed to continue their joint work in this direction.
