On March 26, an event dedicated to celebrating the holiday "Noоruz" took place at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Washington. The event was organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the USA and Canada in collaboration with the American organization "Things to Do" to promote the country's tourism potential.

During the event, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA and Canada, Bakyt Amanbaev, acquainted Americans with the essence and significance of the "Noоruz" holiday. He shared interesting facts about the national haracteristics, history, and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, as well as the statehood of Kyrgyzstan.

Within the framework of the event, a photo exhibition showcasing Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential was presented, along with a special video presentation. Participants of the event had the opportunity to taste traditional dishes of Kyrgyz cuisine. Talented Kyrgyz singers, such as Bakyt Shatenov and Bermet Orozbekova, performed folk songs and demonstrated Kyrgyz dances.
