On July 28, 2021, in Tokat, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev, as part of his participation in the 16th Сonference on ecotourism and sustainable tourism, met the Governor of Tokat province Ozan Balci and the Mayor of the mentioned city Eyup Eroglu.

During the meetings, the parties discussed the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tokat. Also, in order to protect the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens, the local authorities were requested to pay attention to citizens of Kyrgyzstan staying in Tokat.

Governor Balci and Mayor Eroglu noted the importance of establishing cooperation between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Tokat.
