Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev took part in the symposium “Turkic republics in the 30th anniversary of their independence”

At the invitation of the leadership of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Akhmet Yassawi, on November 9, 2021, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev took part in the symposium “Turkic republics in the 30th anniversary of their independence”, organized at the Nation's Library of the Presidency of Turkey.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Head of the Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs, Head of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Yasawi University, Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, heads of Turkish state offices, as well as representatives of international organizations and the media.

Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev made a presentation on the topic “In the 30th anniversary of independence, relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey”. Before the speech, a video about Kyrgyzstan and its tourism potential was shown.

Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev in his presentation described the development of bilateral relations over the years of independence and stressed the strategic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. At the same time, he drew attention to the common history, language, culture and religion of the Kyrgyz and Turkish peoples and outlined successful examples of interaction between the two countries.
