On September 19, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the President of the Defense Industry Agency under the President of the Republic of Türkiye Ismail Demir.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector were discussed, including possible creating a joint Kyrgyz-Turkish defense enterprise in the Kyrgyz Republic.
