On September 22, 2022, Bursa hosted an event dedicated to the oeuvre and compositions of Chyngyz Aitmatov, which is held by the Anadolu Mektebi.

During the panel discussion, students from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan made presentations on the work of Chyngyz Aitmatov as well as on various topics and problems that are deeply and sharply touched upon in the writer's works.

The participants were welcomed by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubanychbek Omuraliev, professor Ramazan Korkmaz and Chairman of the Board of the Anadolu Mektebi Professor Sami Guclu.

The event ended with an awards ceremony for panel discussion participants.

For reference: The Anatolian School was founded by the former Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Türkiye, Professor Sami Güçlü in 2012 at the Sakarya University. The main directions of the school are reading and discussion on panel discussions of the works of authors and individual works written about the authors who managed to contribute to the development of Turkic culture and civilization.
