On February 2, 2023, Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Chief Advisor to the President of the Republic of Türkiye Yalçın Topçu at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda as well as through the Organization of Turkic States, and exchanged views on topical issues of regional security and stability.

At the meeting there was especially emphasized that common historical roots, similarity of languages, cultures and traditions are a solid foundation for Kyrgyz-Turkish relations.

In addition, the issue of coordinating and appointing the leadership of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University was raised, issues of mutual trips of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye and simplification of the conditions for their stay, as well as enhancing cooperation in the field of healthcare were discussed.
