On July 8, 2020, 326 Kyrgyz citizens returned from Turkey

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey informs that on 8th of July, 2020 as a result of a cooperated work with The Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Istanbul, 326 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were returned to the homeland with the charter flight of Turkish Airlines on an Istanbul-Bishkek route. By this flight, Kyrgyz citizens who were in various cities of Turkey, including those who traveling in transit from other countries, were returned in accordance with earlier compiled lists by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy and the Consulate General based on appeals of citizens.

The flight was carried out as part of the ongoing work to return citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are in foreign countries and are not able to return to our homeland due to the temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic in connection with the pandemic of the coronavirus Covid-19.

The following charter flights for the return of Kyrgyz citizens are expected on July 15, 22 and 29, 2020. We will additionally inform all details of the upcoming flights.
