On February 14, 2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Idris Kadyrkulov met with the director of the Ukrainian company ELIXIR O. Vosilenko, which produces more than 600 pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical products under the ELIXIR trademark.

During the conversation, Ambassador I.Kadyrkulov, noting the notable achievements of the ELIXIR company in pharmaceuticals and cosmetology, discussed possible areas for mutually beneficial cooperation in these areas.

The parties also discussed the possibility of increasing the volume of exports of environmentally friendly medicinal plants and products from Kyrgyzstan, as well as the issue of organizing production in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, I. Kadyrkulov provided information on investment and transit opportunities, liberal tax preferences and Kyrgyzstan's opportunities for foreign investors.

It was noted that the Kyrgyz Republic has the status of the Generalized Scheme of Preferences, which allows Kyrgyzstan to import more than 6,200 commodity items duty-free into the territory of the European Union, is also a member of the Eurasian Economic Union and has access to the market of 5 countries without customs duties, where more than 180 million people live .

In this regard, I. Kadyrkulov urged to actively invest in the economy of our country and open production enterprises together with Kyrgyz partners.

The parties agreed to direct joint efforts to expand cooperation in the trade and economic direction and organize a trip to Bishkek in the first half of May.
