On October 8, 2021, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine took part in a videoconference between the Republican Library for Children and Youth named after K.Bayalinov and the National Library of Ukraine for Children.

The event was initiated by the Embassy together with the National Library of Ukraine for Children as one of the events dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the videoconference, children from the Kyrgyz Republic talked about the peculiarities of the Kyrgyz yurt, and the children of Ukraine - about the peculiarities of the Ukrainian house. It should be noted that this kind of events are held on an ongoing basis between the libraries of the two countries.

The main goal of the event is to popularize Kyrgyz culture among the younger generation of Ukraine and Ukrainian culture among the younger generation of Kyrgyzstan.

The parties agreed to continue close cooperation and more often hold Skype conferences with the participation of children in order to actively develop existing bilateral friendly relations in the cultural sphere.
