On November 27, 2019, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting was held between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine Zh. Sharipov and the President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine Y. Gadzalo.

       The parties discussed the prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Ukrainian cooperation in the agricultural sector, establishing cooperation and exchange of experience between associations of the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, as well as mutual exchange of experience and genetic resources in the field of gardening, potato growing, beekeeping, poultry farming, fisheries, industrial and medicinal plants.

      Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a business forum on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine on the agricultural industry with the participation of the Associations of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, as well as on organizing visits by Kyrgyz specialists and entrepreneurs of scientific institutes and stations of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
