The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine at 27^th of October, as part of the planned work to promote the cultural heritage and spiritual values of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, took part in the 5th annual festival of cultures of the peoples of the world "Outlook World Culture".

The initiator of the event was the Outlook project with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and more than 30 diplomatic missions of foreign states accredited in Ukraine participated in that event. The festival of cultures of the peoples of the world was held in the national cultural and art museum complex “Art Arsenal”, which is a cultural monument of the national importance of Ukraine.

At the opening ceremony of the festival took part The First Lady of Ukraine, Mrs. M. Poroshenko, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, E. Nyshchuk, heads of diplomatic missions.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine presented the rich cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people and the specialties of the Kyrgyz cuisine to the residents and guests of Kiev. The festival exhibited unique leather paintings, felt products, traditional national costumes, headdresses, souvenirs, brochures and booklets of the Kyrgyz Republic, also there was a corner of Ch.Aitmatov, where his works were exhibited, including those translated into Ukrainian for the first time and paintings based on his works.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zh.Sharipov and the Embassy staff told visitors about the traditions, life, cultural values and applied art of the Kyrgyz people, about the values of national traditional clothing, and also provided information about tourist and investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The corner of the Kyrgyz Republic presented by the Embassy got great interest among visitors.
