In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N.Japarov, May 1 and 2, 2021, have been declared as days of national mourning in the Kyrgyz Republic in memory of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who became victims of the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in the Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In all Diplomatic Missions of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad the state flag of the Kyrgyz Republic has been lowered, and participation in all previously planned cultural events has been canceled.

In connection with the tragic event that resulted in human casualties, the Diplomatic Missions of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have opened books of condolences for all Diplomatic Missions of Foreign States and International Organizations accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will accept messages of condolences both in the traditional form in the book of condolences and via e-mail.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Riyadh shares the bitterness of an irreplaceable loss and extends its deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
