On February 27, 2019, in the framework of visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov met with the Chairman of the Majlis Al-Shuraa (Consultative Council) of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Ash-Sheikh.

During the conversation, along with prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Saudi bilateral relations, the parties noted the importance of intensifying the inter-parliamentary cooperation. At the same time, Minister C. Aidarbekov conveyed the words of welcome and invitation from the Toraga (Speaker) of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic D. Dzhumabekov to his Saudi counterpart to visit Kyrgyzstan.
