On October 11, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with the CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Harthi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of radio broadcasting, television and cinematography, paying special attention to the need for interaction between the parties in order to promote tourism, expand cultural and information exchange.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain constant contact, as well as expedite the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the state institutions of the two countries in the field of television and radio broadcasting.
