On December 19, 2023, in Riyadh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia U.Maripov met with the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Fahad Al-Kanaan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Saudi Arabia in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

In particular, the parties discussed the possibility of mutually holding cultural days of the Kyrgyz Republic and Saudi Arabia, as well as the exchange of cultural delegations.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further expanding cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as in accelerating the signing of a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of culture between the ministries of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador U.Maripov invited Fahad AlKanaan to visit the Kyrgyz Republic at any convenient time.
