Important information regarding the absence of valid documents for the right to cross the State border of the Kyrgyz Republic for individual citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with minor children upon arrival at the Manas-Airport checkpoint

1792

The Border Control of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that upon arrival at the Manas-Airport checkpoint, individual citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with minor children do not have valid documents for the right to cross the State border of the Kyrgyz Republic.

When passing through passport control, these citizens present a birth certificate and travel documents issued by the competent authorities of foreign states.

It is noted that the birth certificate and travel documents are completely filled out in foreign languages. When sending information to the Department of Population Registration and Civil Status Acts (Citizenship Department) of the State Registration Service under the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, there are problems with the translation of the above documents into the State or official language with notarization (it takes some time).

In order to exclude the prolonged stay of minors (infants and sick children) in the sterile zone of the Manas International Airport, the Embassy asks the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to plan their arrival in the Kyrgyz Republic in advance with valid documents for the right to cross the State border, with an official translation of travel documents certified by the competent authorities of a foreign state.

For example: Your child has a passport of the Kyrgyz Republic and a birth certificate issued by a foreign state. In this case, you need to apostille the birth certificate in the authorized body of a foreign state and translate it into the state or official languages of the Kyrgyz Republic. The translation must be notarized.
