On July 15, 2020, 3 citizens were returned to the Kyrgyz Republic from Japan, amid the suspension of international air traffic related to the spread of COVID-19.

Our citizens on regular flights arrived from Tokyo to Istanbul and then on a charter flight of the «Turkish Airlines» arrived at International Airport Manas.

In total, 330 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from Malaysia, Northern Cyprus, Japan, France, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA, Germany, Vietnam, Belgium, Sweden, Czech Republic, Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Austria, Spain and Georgia returned to Bishkek on this flight.

Work on the search for possible routes for the return of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from Japan, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand is ongoing.
