The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, expressed condolences to the relatives of fellow citizens who died during the recent events on Kyrgyz-Tajik State border.

«Dear compatriots,

Please accept my deepest condolences in connection with the latest tragic events in the Batken region. The incident that took place on the Kyrgyz-Tajik State border, as a result of which our citizens, including a child, were killed, echoed with pain in the heart of every citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Trouble hit hundreds of homes. It is obvious that no words of sympathy and sorrow will be able to return our compatriots, whose life was cut short in an instant. The memory of them will always be in the heart of every citizen of our country!

I would like to express my gratitude to our citizens, who rallied in difficult times and provided support to people who found themselves in the conflict zone.

I would like to express my gratitude to our soldiers, sergeants and officers who did everything possible to prevent an escalation of the conflict.

I express my sincere sympathy and support to the relatives of the victims, and to the wounded - a speedy recovery and good health. The state will provide the families of the dead and wounded with all the necessary assistance, as well as the necessary financial and other resources will be directed to the restoration of destroyed houses, social and economic facilities.

May there always be a peaceful sky over the Kyrgyz Republic».
