On August 30, 2022, a videoconference was held with the participation of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan with the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), which assists in the placement of civil servants of the Kyrgyz Republic who have been selected for study at universities in Japan.

Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy E. Atabekov expressed gratitude to the Center for long-term assistance in organizing the educational process and accommodation for representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic, noting the importance of continuing this practice in order to train highly qualified personnel for the country and taking into account the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Japan.

During the meeting, an exchange of views and discussion of issues of areas of activity and study of 18 students and 2 graduate students took place, which this year represent a large number of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic, engaged in important and priority activities in various fields of activity. Another important fact is that the Japanese side maintains the KR quota of 18 people.

The Embassy expressed the wish for students to comply with the laws of Japan, the provisions and requirements of Japanese higher educational institutions.
