On May 10, 2023, Ambassador Erkinbek Osoev visited one of the leading universities in Japan - University of Tsukuba and held a meeting with the President of the University, Mr. Nagata Kyosuke.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the expansion of experience in the field of academic exchange between universities of Kyrgyzstan and the University of Tsukuba.

K. Nagata informed about the activities of the University, interaction with foreign universities, as well as the implementation of admission and exchange of students.

Ambassador E. Osoev informed about Kyrgyz Republic’s leadership policy on the development of human resources, the importance of studying the best Japanese experience and suggested considering the possibility of exchanging researchers, including in the field of agriculture, geology, irrigation, etc.
