Visit of Ambassador Mirlan Arstanbaev to Kochi prefecture

Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Mirlan Arstanbaev met with Governor of Kōchi Prefecture Mr. Masanao Ozaki on July 31, 2019. Two sides  commended current level of cooperation and highlighted significance of its further broadening.

 

Ambassador Arstanbaev initiated holding of various joint events dedicated to promotion of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan. As one of the initial steps he pointed out prospectiveness of joint trainings with Kyrgyz wrestlers in Kōchi in the  threshold of Tokyo Olympic games.

 

Kyrgyz doctors are holding their internship in Kochi’s clinics on regular basis, said Japanese side. Governor Ozaki expressed his opinion that this dimension of cooperation could be be broadened.

 

Meantime, Mr. Ozaki said they could welcome national female team of wrestlers of the Kyrgyz Republic within this year, providing it all necessary conditions upon their arrival in Japan.

 

Mr. Arstanbaev visited «Kochi East High School», where Kōchi prefecture trains national level wrestlers. Ambassador witnessed the conditions in the abovementioned high school’s training facility where Japanese side is planning to conduct joint trainings with Kyrgyz wrestlers. High school’s management informed this facility meets international standards and it is fully ready to welcome Kyrgyz sportsmen. In addition, their planning to invite leading  trainers of Japan to forthcoming event.
