On October 24, 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov met with the President of the world karate organization "Shinkiokushinkai" Mr. Kenji Midori.

The parties discussed prospects of cooperation in the field of karate popularization in Kyrgyzstan. 

The Japanese side expressed the opinion that for this purpose, it would be relevant to organize a number of events in the Kyrgyz Republic, such as joint training camps, Championships, etc.

The Minister expressed readiness to work on this issue together with interested structures in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The parties agreed to continue consultations on the issues discussed.
