The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic welcomes the decision of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) to restore the “good delivery” status of the Kyrgyzaltyn refinery.

“The Cabinet of Ministers welcomes and highly appreciates the decision of the LBMA to restore the status of good delivery. This decision was not easy. Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC had to pass many exams and undergo an audit procedure during the events of the past year surrounding the change of ownership of the largest gold mining enterprise. We have been able to demonstrate our strong commitment to the letter and spirit of our commitment to the LBMA as a trusted supplier of gold and silver to the global market. We assure that our refinery will continue to fully and unconditionally comply with all its obligations in the LBMA,” said Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.

“The decision to restore full access of Kyrgyz gold to the world market is another recognition of the just policy of President Sadyr Japarov's team. We were able not only to achieve the victory of the interests of the people of Kyrgyzstan, but we did it, as promised from the first day, in full compliance with all international and legal obligations,” said Akylbek Zhaparov.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic also additionally draws attention to the fact that the decision taken by the LBMA also recognizes the status of “good delivery” for all gold and silver refined by the Kyrgyzaltyn enterprise during the status suspension period from September last year.
