Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Chingiz Aidarbekov had a telephone conversation with the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Ireland Mr. Simon Coveney.

The two ministers exchanged views on the current coronavirus situation in their respective countries and the measures being taken to tackle the global pandemic. The parties highlighted the importance of experience sharing to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Foreign ministers also discussed the prospects of further enhancing bilateral relations.  Special emphasis was made on strengthening cooperation in the multilateral international organizations.
