The Ministry informs of the change in the requirements of the Algorithms of actions to prevent the entry and spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in relation to citizens of foreign states and stateless persons arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic as from 13 January 2021.

According to the above Algorithm, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, citizens of foreign states and stateless persons are allowed on board an aircraft traveling to the Kyrgyz Republic, upon presentation of PCR test results, indicating the absence of coronavirus infection, performed in the last 72 hours (report from the sampling of analysis).

Upon arrival in the Kyrgyz Republic, the staff of the sanitary and quarantine points (SQP) will also check the availability of PCR test results and thermometry of passengers when crossing the border.

On board the aircraft, flight attendants provide passengers with a “Questionnaire for arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic”, which must be handed over to the SQP staff after filling out.

In case of expiration of the PCR test (72 hours) for objective reasons related to the length of flight or a delay in the flight, foreign citizens and stateless persons are required to undergo a PCR study at the place of arrival (at the airport terminals).

The same requirements apply to citizens arriving in the country by motor vehicles. “Questionnaire for arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic” is filled in at checkpoints across the State Border of the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the same time, the Ministry reminds that the above requirements do not apply to employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign states in the Kyrgyz Republic, employees of international organizations (with advance notification of arrival through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic), members of official delegations (with advance notification of arrival through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic), drivers carrying out international freight and regular international passenger transportation, preschool children (up to 7 years old inclusive), international observers of the election process in the country.

In this regard, the Ministry recommends planning trips to the Kyrgyz Republic in advance.
