The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic takes with deep concern and pain the current situation in the Palestinian territories, which has worsened in the past few days, during which the mutual exchange of rocket attacks resulted in numerous human casualties and hundreds of injuries on both sides.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the parties to prudence and demands an immediate end to any type of armed violence, which primarily affects innocent civilians.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deep conviction that only at the negotiating table, and not by force of arms, can peace be achieved and the long-standing Palestinian-Israeli crisis be resolved, and believes that respect and reverence for the sacred places of both nations will contribute to the strengthening of mutual trust and will serve as a guarantee for further progress in resolving the conflict.
