On June 28, 2022, at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ambassador M. Zhamanbaev met with the Chairman of the Creative Association of Artists of Uzbekistan Ibragim Valikhodzhaev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues in the field of culture and art, as well as between the artists of the two countries, the possibility of expanding these ties through regular organization of joint exhibitions and enhancing art relations between the two countries. Ambassador M. Zhamanbaev noted the traditional friendly relations between the two countries in the field of culture and art and proposed to intensify mutual cooperation in this direction.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to work out the signing a bilateral memorandum of cooperation between the Association of Artists of Uzbekistan and the Association of Artists of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to promote contacts, exchanges between artists of the two countries and to hold art exhibitions.
