On December 19,2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Vice President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Azhar Ul Islam Zafar and its honorary members.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of holding the next Kyrgyz-Pakistani business forum in early 2023, joint exhibitions and fairs of various types of products and services, as well as other events aimed at developing trade and economic cooperation.

Ambassador U.Totuiaev provided the participants of the meeting with detailed information about the economic opportunities of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the most promising investment projects that are potentially interesting for the Pakistani side. He invited Pakistani businessmen to visit Kyrgyzstan in order to establish business ties, as well as organize joint work with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 In his turn, A. Zafar indicated readiness to establish mutually beneficial relations with the Kyrgyz side. In this regard, he proposed to intensify activities to create joint working groups on trade both at the state level and at the level of the business community of the two countries.

At the same time, A. Zafar invited the newly appointed President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic T.Sariev to visit Pakistan together with members of the business community.
