On August 27-28, 2020, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary Bakyt Dzhusupov paid a working visit to Budapest.

Within the framework of the visit, BakytDzhusupov held talks with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, as well as with the heads of a number of departments.During negotiations, he discussed issues of further strengthening and developing comprehensive cooperation with Hungary. Particular emphasis was placed on the prospects for continuing an active political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation and expanding the treaty base of the two countries.

In addition, meetings were held in the Mayor's Office of Budapest on the issue of promising cooperation, Gedeon Richter on cooperation in the field of providing the country with medicines, Wizz Air on the possibility of opening direct flights between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary and Zeolit Hungary for cooperation on the problems existing tailings on the territory KR.
