Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Iran Turdakun Sydykov met with Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade - Head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran Alireza Peymanpak

As part of the promotion of economic diplomacy on August 11, 2022 at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Tehran a working meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Iran Turdakun Sydykov and the Deputy Minister of Industry, Minerals and Trade - Head of Trade Development Organization of Iran Alireza Peymanpak.

The sides discussed the dynamics of development of trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Iran, as well as preparations for exhibition events and business forums scheduled for September 2022 in Bishkek and Osh with the participation of officials and private entrepreneurs from Iran.

To increase trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran, the sides discussed the possibility of mutual opening of permanent exhibitions (showrooms) in Bishkek and Tehran, demonstrating the export potential of the two countries.

The parties also stressed the need for appropriate preparations for the next meeting of the joint Kyrgyz-Iranian commission on trade and economic cooperation, which will be held in Bishkek.
