On January 18, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Kuwait, Azamat Karagulov, met with the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the State of Kuwait, Dr. Hamad Abdulwahab Al-Advani, in order to exchange views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

During the meeting, Ambassador A. Karagulov, congratulating Dr. H. Al-Advani on his appointment to the post of Minister, made a brief excursion into the history of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, main achievements and discussed further tasks for the development of interdepartmental and interuniversity relations, as well as the preparation of draft bilateral agreements for signing within the framework of forthcoming official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Zhaparov to Kuwait.

In turn, Minister Dr. Hamad Al-Advani confirmed his readiness to develop comprehensive cooperation in the field of education, noting the openness of the Kuwaiti side to the implementation of joint educational projects and scientific exchange. He also expressed interest in active participation in the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kuwait intergovernmental commission on economic and technical cooperation in March of this year in Kuwait City.
