On March 22, 2023, in Riyadh, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a large-scale event dedicated to the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of state and public figures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, members of the Shura Council (Parliament), representatives of scientific and business circles, as well as honored workers of culture and sports of the country.

The main goal of the event was to familiarize the invited guests with the investment and tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.

During the event, Ambassador U.Maripov delivered a speech, describing in detail the reforms carried out by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Cabinet of Ministers in the country, as well as the measures taken to create favorable conditions for foreign investors.

As part of the event, the Embassy showed videos about Kyrgyzstan, and also organized a photo exhibition about the culture, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people. As part of this photo exhibition, Embassy provided to the guests information about the tourism in Kyrgyzstan, unique natural places to visit, as well as traditional sports and national games.

At the end of the event, a gala dinner was organized in honor of the guests. In addition, visitors were provided materials on investment projects, as well as travel brochures and booklets about Kyrgyzstan.

It should be noted that the event of this scale was held by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Saudi Arabia for the first time.
