On September 19, 2020 in Islamabad at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Pakistan, Ambassador Erik Beishembiev met with the Director of the textile company "AMK Apparels" Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Khan and CEO of the investment company "Malik Enterprise" Mr. Shehriyar Malik.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for investment cooperation and the expansion of trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, the possibility of opening production facilities in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as establishing direct business contacts between Kyrgyz and Pakistani private enterprises.

Following the meeting, the Pakistani side informed about its intention to visit Kyrgyzstan with a business visit in the near future.
