On January 29, 2023, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Afghanistan organized a meeting of the heads of diplomatic missions of Central Asian countries in Kabul (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan) and the Special Representative to the Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Head of UNAMA R.Otunbaeva.

During the meeting, the current situation and the organization of regional cooperation among the Central Asia countries in Afghanistan were discussed.

The participants of the meeting noted the importance of coordinated cooperation in the host country to assist the Afghan people and organize collective measures to ensure regional security.
