The regular political consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany

On July 20, 2022, regular political consultations were held between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Kyrgyz side was represented at the level of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev, and the German side was represented by the Plenipotentiary of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia Matthias Luettenberg.

During the consultations, the parties noted that within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, a number of joint events are being held in 2022. One of the important events was the past Kyrgyz-German business forum and the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-German business council, co-chaired by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Issues of trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, financial and technical cooperation, interaction within the framework of the Green Central Asia project, as well as in the consular and legal sphere were also discussed.

The diplomats also exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan and Ukraine.

Aibek Moldogaziev and Matthias Luettenberg agreed to maintain permanent business contacts for prompt discussion and resolution of emerging issues.
