On February 13, 2020, Ambassador D.Kemelova met with the President of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea Kim Dong Man.

During the meeting the sides discussed the issues regarding the Employment permit system and the protection of the rights and interests of labor migrants from Kyrgyz Republic. The Embassy also asked for assistance in increasing the labor contracts for Kyrgyz citizens.

The President of HRD Korea, in his turn, informed that due to the economic situation in the country, small and medium enterprises have reduced the hiring of foreign workers.

The Ambassador told about the labor potential of the Kyrgyz citizens and noted, that the Employment permit system gives an opportunity to develop human resources, to exchange the experience and knowledge for further use it in Kyrgyzstan.

The sides agreed to continue the work on increasing the amount of the labor contracts and on protecting the rights and interests of labor migrants of the Kyrgyz Republic.
