Today, October 13, 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov presented the Jubilee Medal "75 years to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic" to the head of the World Health Organization Country Office in the Kyrgyz Republic Nazira Artykova for an active and efficient cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic, especially during the fight against the pandemic COVID-19.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Mr. Madmarov thanked WHO for the substantial humanitarian assistance provided to the Kyrgyz Republic in the fight against COVID-19.

Taking this opportunity, Ms. Artykova assured that WHO's cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic is productively, the organization intends to continue to provide assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic.

The parties also discussed issues of further cooperation.

In conclusion, Mr. Madmarov wished to Ms. Artykova successful work and confirmed his readiness to continue further cooperation of the Kyrgyz Republic with the WHO.
