On January 26, 2022, Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with Mr. Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues in the field of political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as 

the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international organizations.

At the same time, the parties agreed to direct efforts towards organization of mutual visits at all levels, political consultations between foreign ministries and 

the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on bilateral cooperation.

In order to develop tourism in Kyrgyzstan and attract investment, the issues regarding the residence of citizens of Saudi Arabia in the Kyrgyz Republic and legal mechanisms for strengthening investment protection were raised.

Due to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia, the parties expressed their intention to jointly hold the Days of Culture of the two countries, exhibition, tourism and business forums during 2022.
