On May 30, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zh.Kulubaev had meeting with the President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh.

President U.Khurelsukh noted the importance of developing the cooperation between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, which are based on centuries-old friendship.

He noted the existence of great potential in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and stated the importance of raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zh.Kulubaev conveyed greetings and warm wishes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Zhaparov.

Minister Zh.Kulubaev stressed the importance of further deepening the political dialogue and mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations. He also expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in studying Mongolia's experience in the fields of agriculture, processing and light industry, as well as environmental protection. In addition, the consonance of the goals and objectives of the initiative of President S.Zhaparov "Zhashyl Muras" with the national program of the President of Mongolia U.Khurelsuh "Billion trees" was announced.

During the meeting both sides also exchanged views on expanding trade volumes, increasing transport and logistics capabilities, developing cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare, as well as the garment and textile industry.
