On May 30, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batmunkh Battsetseg.

During the meeting, the foreign ministers discussed issues of strengthening the political dialogue, conducting high-level visits, intensifying trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Zh.Kulubaev noted the possibilities of building up Kyrgyz-Mongolian trade and economic relations, in particular in the fields of agriculture, processing industry and the textile sector. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Battsetseg stressed the relevance of these proposals and indicated the readiness of the Mongolian side to work together. She also focused on cooperation in the fields of tourism, medicine, education and culture. 

Both sides also discussed issues of creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs of the two countries. 

In addition, they exchanged views on cooperation within the framework of international organizations, as well as topical issues on the regional agenda.
