On July 2th, 2019, at about 3.00 pm in Yekaterinburg, near his house,  the chairman of the Sverdlovsk regional public organization "Kyrgyzstan-Ural" К.Karimov was shot from firearms and killed by two unknown persons.

From the General Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Yekaterinburg the letters were sent to local authorities and investigative departments of Yekaterinburg with a request to take control of the investigative process of the incident.

K.Karimov had successfully carried out social activities for many years as the head of the Kyrgyzstan-Ural the kyrgyz diaspora organization in the Ural region of Russia.

July 3th this year in Yekaterinburg, a farewell meeting with K.Karimov/ was held with the participation of the staff of the Consulate General and compatriots.

July 4th of this year K. Karimov’s body will be sent to Kyrgyzstan and buried in his homeland - the village of Zhany-Aryk, Kara-Suu district, Osh region.

The investigative process of the incident is under the control of the Consulate General.
