A telephone conversation was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Moldogaziev and the Prime Minister’s Special Representative, Minister of State for South and Central Asia, North Africa, United Nations and the Commonwealth of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom Lord Ahmad

On March 2, 2022 by the initiative of the British side a telephone conversation was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Moldogaziev and the Prime Minister’s Special Representative, Minister of State for South and Central Asia, North Africa, United Nations and the Commonwealth of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom Lord Ahmad.

During a telephone conversation, the Parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular the upcoming 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Great Britain this year, as well as holding joint events dedicated to this date.

The Parties also discussed the current situation in Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Moldogaziev noted that the Kyrgyz side stands for peaceful resolution of the conflict exclusively by political and diplomatic methods within the framework of generally recognized principles and norms of international law, welcomes the start of negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the issue.
